Canadian Camp Experience Program (CCEP)

CCEP helps young adults (18-30) travel to Canada to work at the best resident summer camps in the country.

NYQUEST and its overseas recruiting partners, work together to train, place and support participants so that they are well prepared and cared for during their stay in Canada. We also take great pride in carefully placing you at a camp that matches your interests, dates of availability and your preferences related to work environment and type of campers.

The program was created to encourage children and young adults to learn about cultures from around the world; to help young adults (CCEP participants) develop leadership, teaching and other life skills; to help spread the ideas/philosophy of camping/outdoor education to international markets; and to help strengthen Canadian camp staffing teams.

Camp counsellors work and live directly with children between the ages of seven and sixteen.  Support staff work behind the scenes setting up the camp, maintaining camp facilities or helping out in the dining hall.

Work experiences will take place during the 8-10 week Canadian summer (June-August). Participants can also extend their employment and work during the Canadian spring and fall.
