Salary:

Pocket money varies based on experience level, age and certifications. Camp counselors and support staff will earn between $1,400-$1,800 CDN for the 8-10 week work experience. Participants can expect to earn between $30-$40 CDN per day if they work at a camp longer than ten weeks.

Costs:

Medical check by licensed Physician
$150 Canadian work permit fee
International travel
Criminal Background Check (this is free in most countries)

Be available to travel to Canada by June 24th, 2009
Have a clean criminal record
Have 2 strong references from a teacher, a supervisor
    or a community leader
Good physical and psychological health
Able to work long hours with children and teenagers
Comfortable leading group activities
Interested in participating in a wide range of sports and
    wilderness camping experiences
Able to spend long periods of time in the outdoors
Maintenance staff may have to lift heavy objects
Support staff will be expected to do daily chores
