Salary:

Salary varies based on experience level, age and certifications. Camp counsellors will earn $1,400-$1,600 for the 8-10 week work experience. Support Staff earn $1,600-$1,700. Participants can expect a minimum of $34-$50 CDN per day if they work at a camp longer than ten weeks.

Early Bird Specials:

$300 if apply before January 1st

Program Fees for Returning Participants:

FREE if you are a returning participant going to the same camp
$200 if you are a returning participant going to a new camp

$150 Canadian work permit fee
International travel
Criminal Background Check (fee varies from country to country)

Expectations and Other Program Requirements:

Be available to travel to Canada by June 24th and work until at least August 22nd
Age 19-27 by June 1st of the current placement year
Have a clean criminal record
Must be a citizen of one of the followingCOUNTRIES
You do NOT have to be living in your home country (country of citizenship) in order to apply
Good physical and psychological health
Able to work long hours with children and teenagers
Comfortable leading group activities
Interested in participating in a wide range of sports and wilderness camping experiences
Camp counsellors/specialists must have strong English speaking skills
Support staff may have to lift heavy objects

Why Our Participants Prefer Our Program Over USA Camp Placement Programs:

No cost to return to camp for additional summers. This can cost up to $500 for camp programs in the USA
Participants do not need to go to a consulate/embassy and interview with an immigration officer to receive their work permit. The permit is organized on-line or by NYQUEST via email
You do NOT have to be living in your home country (country of citizenship) in order to apply
You do not need to be a student to work as a support staff
We accept International Students studying in the US
