Jonathan Nyquist is the Company Founder and current Operations Director of NYQUEST Training and Placement. Jonathan grew up attending camps in Canada and the U.S. |

He worked as a head staff for several years at Camp White Pine in Haliburton, Ontario and he was the Assistant Director of Trails Youth Initiatives, a Canadian year-round outdoor education school for young potential leaders from the inner city of Toronto.
Jonathan worked as the Boys Head Counsellor at Skylake Yosemite Camp in California and received the Male Staff Member of the Year Award during this work experience.
He spent two years traveling throughout the United States, Canada and Australia working as an outdoor educator, camp counsellor, wilderness trips leader, nature based educator and summer camp administrator.

Jonathan graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Economics and Psychology from the University of Michigan and he completed a Master’s Degree in Recreation Administration and Outdoor Education from California State University, Chico. Jonathan also received the 2006 Toronto Entrepreneur Award for his business start-up with NYQUEST.

In 2012, Jonathan was voted on to the Ontario Camps Association Board of Directors, Canada's largest and longest running camp association.

Camilla Chaplin has a keen interest in camping, travelling and outdoor education. Originally from the UK (therefore denied the experience of being a camper!), Camilla has spent the last four years working at various summer camps with Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania in the USA, working her way up to the position of Program Director.
Camilla has travelled extensively in the USA and Europe, and spent a year working and travelling in Australia and New Zealand, as well as backpacking in Thailand. She studied Politics and International Relations at the University of Manchester, UK, with a focus on global justice and climate change. Camilla has both participated in and worked for international work and cultural exchange programs, one of which landed her in Toronto, where she currently lives.

- We believe that successful travel, training and work experiences in the field of outdoor/experiential education will have the following positive impacts on an individual:
- They will learn how to work in a team and develop valuable teaching, communication and leadership skills that they will use in other employment, parenting or relationship building experiences in the future
- They will learn how to develop healthy communities by teaching children how to interact respectively, care for one another compassionately and solve problems and accomplish goals as a team
- They will benefit from exchanging cultures with others
- They will become refreshed by spending time in nature
- They will benefit from time spent working on public service initiatives and living a physically active life
- They will learn how to test their own limits, how to make challenging decisions and how to communicate to small and large groups of people
- They will develop a stronger sense of self-confidence and self-esteem

- Significantly improve the quality of outdoor education/camp programs and services provided by Canadian camps by:
Providing an affordable, stress free way for Canadian camps to acquire mature, well-supported, competent international staff
- Provide an unforegettable experience for young adults interested in sharing their culture and learning about cultures from around the world. Provide these individuals with a safe, supportive environment in which they can develop friendships from around the world and have a strong positive impact on the lives of Canadian youth.
- Spread the idea of organized camping/outdoor education to international markets
